I finally got a chance to relax my hair after a long stretch. I was pleased with the results and the health of my hair overall. My hair is definitely thicker than it has ever been, but it's hard to tell when I flat iron it. I will try to add some pics with it styled later this week since I have a job interview and plan to wear it curled. I do plan to trim it later this month (most likely after my first wash) so that my hair is even across. It always grows like this no matter how much I trim it. However, I have a question...can someone tell me a good rinse or dye to use to cover gray hair? It's not a lot, but I want it gone lol. Thanks for any suggestions. Have a blessed evening!!!

End of 9 month stretch (flat ironed)
I love your length! Someone recently posted about an all natural dye called Noni. Can't remember who but she had great things to say about it and when I looked it up on Amazon it does look to be pretty safe.
ReplyDeleteEbony, thank you. I will see if I can find out more about Noni. Thanks very much!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat progress!
ReplyDeleteShika, thank you!
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting. It does look thinner, I'm sure it will thicken back up in a few weeks. I wish I could get past APL without cutting. Look forward to more pics.
ReplyDeleteLaQt, thank you! You will get there :-).

ReplyDeleteWow...Awesome Progress!!! Will do do another nine month stretch anytime soon?
ReplyDeleteHi Special K...thank you. I'm not sure, I think I really like keeping my stretches at 6 months. Most of the time if I go longer it's because I don't have time to relax at the moment. We'll see though. Have a great weekend!!!
ReplyDeleteWow that's some good retention you got goin on!! Also thanks for following my blog :) i'll be sure to return the favor!
ReplyDeleteHi Bee~thank you!
ReplyDeleteYour hair is so long and beautiful. I am addicted to getting hair cuts so mine may never reach that length haha! Great blog

You made great progress. I love our length. Successfully stretching 9 months is amazing! My longest stretch was 16 weeks and it was NOT a breeze.
ReplyDelete@ Style by Cesca-thank you very much and for stopping by~
ReplyDelete@Jenijen--thank you. I love this length too, but I'm not sure if I will stretch 9 months again. Thanks for stopping by!
I agree with Jen. Kudos to you for stretching that long. I would have had tons of breakage and probably a huge setback. LOL. Your hair grew a lot. Congrats!
