Hello everyone! I just wanted to take the time to share some wonderful things that have taken place in my life. Maybe this will encourage someone else to be patient and keep the faith. One of my favorite scriptures is Phil. 4:19`"But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." I've been holding on to this inspirational thought for the last two years regarding a lot of things in my life. Well, this Tuesday I finally got a job teaching 2 classes at a community college in my area. I've been applying this entire time over and over, but it just seemed like I couldn't get my foot in the door. I'm so happy and grateful to God for this opportunity and for teaching me that no matter what's going on~Keep trusting him!!!
Now the second big thing to me....yesterday the President, yes,
President Barak Obama came to my hometown and my alma mater, University of Central Missouri. I got the chance of a lifetime to hear him speak and it was an amazing event. I've seen the speeches on television, but it was nothing to compared to physically being there. I'm grateful for that opportunity as well.
I know my blog focuses on hair related things, but I just wanted to share some things with you all. My schedule is about to get busy, but I plan to always take time out to maintain my blog. I will have some updates coming up soon.
Have a blessed day my friends!!!
Blessed Tresses

ReplyDeleteCongratulations! God is good. && Your too luck when Obama came to my college University of Texas in Austin. I wasn't lucky enough to get a ticket to see him. My roommate got one and all she talked about for days was how powerful his speech was in person. Again congratulations on the job and good luck!!
ReplyDeleteDerky, thank you. I was very blessed to get a ticket because there were so many people who didn't. It was an awesome experience!!!
